Arizona state tax offers a credit, which is a full reimbursement, of $500 for a single person and $1,000 for married couples.  This helps families who have kids that attend a private school pay for tuition.  The purpose is to offer people the freedom to take some of the money that they have paid towards the public school system and redirect it towards private schools.  Here are the rules from AZ Department of Revenue.

There is only an upfront cost of the 1st year donation and then you are able to take the tax return from each year thereafter and reapply it.

To make a donation for Josie:

  1. Go to ACSTO
  2. Select Trinity Lutheran School, Litchfield Park
  3. Fill in Josephine Haggard as the Student.
  4. The rest is Self-explanatory.
