Stopping/Starting LogMeIn agent
July 15, 2008 | Glenn Haggard | Comments 1
The default install of LogMeIn software runs all the time and the service is set to automatic which means that it will start automatically after a reboot. I have created 2 scripts below. The first script will stop the service and set the service to manual. This requires human interaction to get the service to start again. The second service will start the service and set it to automatic so that you can reboot the PC while working on it remotely and get back in after the reboot.

Thank you! I installed LoMein a few years ago, and noticed it was still running every time I started up. I could not find it in the start up or run in the registry, so didn’t know how to stop it from restarting. I would stop the service, but only after I boot up and it had already started. I hope this works. Thanks.
